THE INS & OUTS:

Working alongside your Mentor EP for a minimum of 10 hours per week, you will be based at our purpose-built clinic in South Yarra. While your mentor is your primary contact, you will have the opportunity to work alongside all EP Group Team Members. The internship is structured in 3 tiers that categorise tasks of increasing capability, skill and responsibility. You will commence with Tier 1 (Introduction to the business, marketing and practice management). Through this Tier you will develop an understanding of our key philosophies and processes that determine ‘how we roll’. You will then progress to Tier 2 and 3 tasks at the discretion of your Mentor Exercise Physiologist. Formal performance reviews will be conducted every 2 months (or as the Mentor sees fit) to identify your strengths and weaknesses, help you set goals, assess progress and develop your skill set.

REMUNERATION:

You will be employed in accordance with the Fair Work Act (2009) and remunerated as a casual employee at a rate of $20/hour. These payments will be subject to 10% super contribution and paid pro rata as part of our salary schedule. You will also have access to a $1000 Professional Development budget to further your skills and knowledge in a chosen pathway.

FINE PRINT:
As an employee of the Exercise Physiology Group, you will be covered by the Exercise Physiology Group’s Professional Indemnity/Public Liability policy and will be extended coverage under the Exercise Physiology Group’s Workers Compensation policy in the event of an injury.

interview and task-based assessment.
